Grant Programs of the Rotary Foundation

All grant applications are forwarded by individuals and clubs to the District Grant Committee for review and approval prior to the District forwarding them to The Rotary Foundation.

  1. Matching Grants for International Humanitarian projects are available in two categories (Rotary International Matching Grants Program PDF):
    1. Matching Grants from $5,000 to $25,000 are reviewed monthly
    2. Matching Grants from $25,001 to $150,000 are reviewed once every six months by the Trustees of The Rotary Foundation.

  2. Health, Hunger & Humanity (3H) Grants are for projects above $150,001. (Rotary International 3H Grant Program)

  3. Volunteer Service Grants support the international travel of Rotarians to provide a needed service to a community and/or to plan the implementation of a needed project in a community. (Rotary Volunteer Service Grants)

  4. Club Opportunity Grants (COG) are funded by a District Simplified Grant and are intended for local community projects.

    07-08 COG Reports: All Club Opportunity Grants require that reports be submitted at least every 90 after the completion of the project or June 1, 2008 whichever comes first.
    A report must be submitted BEFORE you can apply for your 08-09 funds!
